Hello, dear reader. Sorry I've been gone so long. There is a lot going on. I'll be sharing some things with you shortly. Among them - Mom's big day as a Woman of Influence and some shots from the NYC Marathon.

We have a new mayor. I think he'll be a good mayor, though I think that whole "business man is best [he's not really a politician]" argument is going to wear thin in the future. This was another very tight race. Is that to be the norm in the future? Does it mean anything - like maybe the candidates are completely undifferentiated these days? Aren't you glad the political TV ads are done for now?
