I called Verizon today. As soon as I connected, I heard a smooth, confident announcer voice saying ‘The privacy of your account information is your right and our responsibility.’ I wonder if this has been added since the whole NSA database thing blew up all over the press.
Meanwhile, Bush said on Tuesday ‘We do not listen to domestic phone calls without court approval.’ That's great, except any call with one terminus overseas is an international call. Guess they don't need a court order to listen in on those.
